The European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) is an initiative of the ENISA, led by a group of European countries that organize national cybersecurity competitions. It is the largest European level technical championship in Cybersecurity, in which the best talents from the different participating countries compete, selected through their different national competitions. This fourth edition takes place in Spain, in the city of Malaga on October 31 and November 1. The competition could not be more exciting for the national team of this year 2017, since they defend the title won in 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Yago Hansen was a coach of the Spanish team before the championship.
